37 people confirmed dead in an accident at Genting Highlands (Updated)

PAHANG: So far, 37 people have been confirmed dead from the tragic bus accident which happen near Genting Highlands around 3pm today.

It was said that the bus was carrying 49 people and it pluged into a 30 metre ravine near Genting Highlands.

The bus driver is one of the 37 people who died.

Among the 37 who died, 24 of them are males and 13 are females.

The Story:

It is believed that the bus driver lost control of the bus and he rammed into a diveder then plugging down the hill.

The accident happen at KM36 of Genting Kuala Lumpur road around the Chin Swee Caves temple as the bus was bringing the people down from Genting Highlands towards Kuala Lumpur.

Rescue teams are still now at the scene trying to find more survivors.

About 30 policemen and 9 ambulances are at the scene to help those are in need.

“I can confirm that there were passengers on the bus but how many there were I don’t know yet.
