10. Nora Danish – Malaysian actress, model and television host
In 2013, Nora have appeared in three Malaysia films “Lagenda Budak Hostel”, “Mencari Cinta” & “2 Kalimah”.
In June 2014, Nora revealed a few sneak previews on her official Instagram account about her 2014 film “Pengantin Malam” co-starring Farid Kamil.
9. Liyana Jasmay – Malaysian actress and singer
Her first acting role started in 1997 when she was only 9 years old in a TV drama entitled Si Lembik. The story is similar to the Hollywood movie The Little Rascals, where little kids play the roles of adults. It was produced and directed by Malaysian famous celebrity, Aznil Hj Nawawi
She then made her first silver-screen role in a highly promoted movie Castello, where she starred alongside Malaysian award-winning actor Rosyam Nor. The role earned Liyana Jasmay her first Malaysian Film Festival 2006 nomination for the Best New Actress Award.
Her career soared and she then won a Best Actress Award for Malaysian Film Festival 2009 for her role in the box-office movie, Papadom and a Best Actress Award for her role in an indie-gone-mainstream movie, KAMI.
8. Awal Ashaari – Malaysian actor, model and TV host
He worked at Leo Burnett advertising, where its executive creative director Yasmin Ahmad is also a film maker, as an account executive but felt he did not belong there. Born on 6 August 1981, he then went on to become a newsreader for 8TV’s Twenty Hundred News for eight months in 2003.
It was also at that time was the first season of Malaysian Idol Competition and Awal managed to reach the final 30 cut-off. Later in 2004, FCUK had a model search competition and he was selected. Besides modelling and fashion spreads, Awal hosts Beat TV on Astro Ria. He has also been involved in numerous Malay dramas such as Impak Maksima, Noktah Erna and Cinta Medik.
Previously he was the host of One in a Million, a Malaysian reality singing competition show. He was also the host for a reality TV show in Astro Ria, Mari Menari Season 1 with Lisa Surihani.
7. AirAsia – Malaysian low-cost airline

It has hedged 100% of its fuel requirements for the next three years, achieves an aircraft turnaround time of 25 minutes, has a crew productivity level that is triple that of Malaysia Airlines, and achieves an average aircraft utilisation rate of 13 hours a day.
6. Siti Nurhaliza – Malaysian singer, songwriter, record producer, television presenter and businesswoman.
To date, she has garnered more than 200 local awards as well as international awards. She rose to fame as a multiple-platinum selling artist, since her winning of Malaysia’s reality show Bintang HMI 1995 when she was only 16 where she was given offers in form of singing contracts from four different international recording companies.
Her first single from her debut album, “Jerat Percintaan”, won the 11th Anugerah Juara Lagu and another two awards for Best Performance and Best Ballad. The album itself as of 2005, has been sold to a total of more than 800,000 units in Malaysia alone.
In her career she has recorded and sung in multiple languages, including Bahasa Malaysia, Basa Jawa, English, Mandarin,Arabic, Hindi and Japanese.
5. Aaron Aziz – Singaporean actor, largely known in Malaysia and Singapore.
Aaron Aziz was born on February 23, 1976 in Singapore as Aaron Mustapha Aziz. He is an actor, known for KL Gangster 2 (2013), Ombak rindu (2011) and 2 alam (2010). He has been married to Diyana Halik since August 3, 2003. They have two children.
4. Shaheizy Sam Samad – Malaysian actor, singer and producer
Shaheizy Sam bin Abdul Samad (born 4 September 1982) is a Malaysian actor, singer and producer who was known as a young star in the 1990s before rising to fame in the controversial movies, Bohsia: Jangan Pilih Jalan Hitam in 2009, and the box office movie, Adnan Sempit the following year.
3. Zizan Razak – Malaysian comedian. He is also a television host, actor, and most recently, a singer.
He has also been in several reality television shows. He was runner-up (second place) in the first season of Raja Lawak (“King of Comedy”), a competition for comedians. In it he was known as “Zizan Raja Lawak“.
He was also a participant in Maharaja Lawak (“Emperor of Comedy”), which was a second series of competitions for the finalists of each season of Raja Lawak. In the show, he was paired (as a team) with Johan Raja Lawak.
They were known as “Jozan”. They came second in the series, and won RM 250 thousand. Zizan was also in the reality show Super Spontan, which he won and took the prize of RM 100,000 and a Toyota Camry.
2. Najib Razak – The sixth and current Prime Minister of Malaysia
He was sworn in to the position on 3 April 2009 to succeed Abdullah Ahmad Badawi. He is the President of the United Malays National Organisation, the leading party in Malaysia’s ruling Barisan Nasional coalition.
1. Lisa Surihani – Malaysian actress, model, television host and commercial model.
Lisa started out in an Ovaltine commercial at 11. Some of her earliest TV appearances were Gergasi on TV1 and later Ayah Kami. She first acted in films Goodbye Boysand recently Sekali Lagi with Malaysian actor Shaheizy Sam.
Lisa was awarded Best Actress in a Comedy at the Anugerah Lawak Warna. She also received the Best Actress award at the 23rd Malaysian Film Festival.
Lisa’s stage debut came in the November 2012 production of Teater Tun Siti Hasmah, a biographical sketch of first lady Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah Mohamad Ali.
