No nose bridge? No problem!!
It is a problem for many Asians when buying a pair of sunnies that actually fits their distinct shapes. Sunglasses usually are not designed exclusively for smaller curvatures. Covry Sunwear is now tapping into this under-represent market.
’’For years we’ve looked and looked far and wide for sunglasses thar wouldn’t slide down our noses, hit our cheekbones and actually fit our faces.,’’ said Florence Shin, co-founder of the brand with partner Athina Wang.
”Our challenge was to redesign sunglasses that are more inclusive of all face shapes and sizes’’.
The company launched on Kickstarter and met its $18,500 goal adds multi features called the ”Elevated Fit,” which creates a comfortable fit that work on Asian faces. “We’re hoping that this solves sunglasses shopping, an experience that isn’t inclusive of everyone,” says Athina Wang. “We were surprised that bigger sunglasses companies have never even thought about this very issue.”
