All New iPhone 6 Specification: Release date, Sapphire Crystal Displays,New IOS, Larger Screens


The iPhone 6 will be announced on September 2014. Apple had break many of its own rules and design concept to make the phone new with special components and materials to the smartphone.

Here is a list of everything that is going to change in the iPhone 6 –

Larger Screens:

Steve Jobs swore against making smartphones with large display and he said that they weren’t easy to hold, but his successor, Time Cook has other plans. There were many rumours and leaks about the iPhone 6 that it will be using a larger display.

The iPhone 6 is expected to come in 4.7 inches and also a larger variant at about 5.5 inch.


Sapphire Crystal Displays:

The new iPhone 6 would be using sapphire crystal as it’s display. The company will ditch the Corning Gorilla lass seen on its older iPhones and use sapphire crystals instead.

Display Resolutions:

Rumour has it that the iPhone 5 would be a 1334 x 750 (326 ppi) screen for the 4.7 inch and 1920 x 1080 (405 ppi) screen for the 5.5 inch version.


The iPhone 5 will be using a 20 nanometer A8 chip made by TSMC. It is said that it will also be more energy efficient. The A7 Cip on the iPhone 5s offered a 31 percent improvement over the A6 cip in the iPhone 5.

It is going be running on a quad core 64 bit processor and quad core graphics that will contain only 1GB of ram.


Apple’s iPhone 6 will have the same 8 megapixel sensor found in their previous smartphones (iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c). The increase in pixel size, large aperture, improved dual-LED flast and other numerous software enhancements will be the improvements of the camera.

Operating System:

Apple’s iPhone 6 will be running on iOS 8. The expected feature of this iOS 8 would be the iWatch connectivity and a plethora of health-based features.

Release Date:

iPhone 6 4.7 inch – September 2014

iPhone 6 5.5 inch – expecting during December 2014 or early 2015
