Three Robbers Gunned Down by Police Officers at DUKE Highway


KUALA LUMPUR: Three robbers were gunned down near the Sentul toll plaza on the Damansara-Ulu Klang (DUKE) highway by police officers.

The three robbers had earlier robbed a women who made a large withdrawal from a bank in Bayu Perdana, Klang this morning.

As she was driving off after she had withdraw the money, two Proton Wira blocked her car at the front and rear and a man on a motorcycle then swerved in to smash her window and grabbed her handbag which contained the cash that she had earlier withdrawn. 

The police launched a dragnet and chased the suspects cars but the men managed to slip away. 

At about 3.15pm, one of the Proton Wira was spotted at the DUKE Highway. When the police officers tried to approached the suspects, they started to open fire and the police officers responded to the attack. 


The three men that were in the Proton Wira were believed to be Indonesians in their 20s and 30s were killed during the gun fight.

The gang has been using the same modus operandi and they have managed to graped RM35,000 at a location in Selangor three days ago
