3). Performance of the Sonic Gear Airphone V Bluetooth Headset:

When we got our hands on the Sonic Hear Airphone V Bluetooth Head, we quickly tried it on a few games and also listening to some music with. We are amazed that this compact mid sized headset actually do produce decent audio quality. The audio that comes out of the Sonic Hear Airphone Bluetooh Headset is very much clear and there is no quality loss. Bass in this little bad boy also comes out powerfully with decent audio quality. Bass lovers would really appreciate this little headset as it does comes out good despite being a Bluetooth capability built. Overall the audio quality in this Bluetooth headset is really remarkable.

We tested this headset with an iPhone 5S, a desktop gaming PC, an ordinary laptop, HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S4 and also with a Blackberry Z10. The Sonic Gear Airpohne V Bluetooth Headset could perform decently in all these gadgets that we have tested it on. It could deliver optimum sound quality. As I am writing this article, I am actually using the headset paired with my HTC One. The music quality that comes out from this little bad boy is just sufficient enough for my ears. We also tried to listening to different genre of songs and it turned out fine in all genres.

The headset also comes with picking up a call function which is pretty much simple as pressing the main button a the side of the headset. The call quality on this headset is good and the microphone does pick up everything clearly. There is no problem with the call quality with this Bluetooth headset. As I was on a call with the headset, I did not have to speak louder than usual as I can hear them on the other hand clearly and the person that I am speaking to can hear me clearly. I can also walk around the house while leaving my phone in my room. The range in this Bluetooth headset is pretty amazing.

Here in FM, we also tested the Sonic Gear Airphone V Bluetooth Headset with a few games. The games that we tested on was Dota 2, Diablo 3 and also Battlefield 4. I find this headset very convenient or more rather enjoying when playing Battlefield 4 with all the crazy explosions and random fire shots everywhere. It gets better with the headset. I enjoyed every moment of Battlefield 4 as this headset really brings the audio quality of the game. Aside from Battlefield 4, games like Dota 2 and Diablo 3 where you cast spells in a battle was also fun to hear. The audio quality is quite detailed and really remarkable. The build in microphone also comes handy when playing games like these as it makes the gaming experience more fun. I did not have any complains with the headset when playing games.

Aside from the performance itself, the battery life span on this little bad boy is really good. I can use it for a whole day of gaming and listening to musics. You might expect longer battery life span if you use it lightly on a daily basis.

The performance and the battery life span is remarkable on this headset. The headset also is quite comfortable for short or light usage. I did not really find it ”very” comfortable when using this headset for long hours. Despite the comfort part, the headphones feels sturdy and doesn’t feel like dropping easily.

4). Conclusion:

The Good:

+ Remarkable Battery Life
+ Decent sound quality
+ Voice instructions is a nice touch
+ Really handy as it does not have wires around (makes you feel free)

The Bad:

– Design could be better (not so plastic like)
– Not really comfortable for long hours use
– No wired connectivity

If you are looking for a budget Bluetooth headset, we here in FM would recommend you to get this. It is priced at RM169 in the market right now. It does produce decent audio quality and the battery life on this device is really really really remarkable. But for a RM169 priced bluetooth headset, you would expect some more features as it comes with the basic only. The design on the Sonic Gear Airphone V Bluetooth Headset could be done better as it looks really simple.  The Sonic Gear Airphone V Bluetooth Headset comes with Black, White, Red and Yellow.
