Snatch thieves robbed and pounded a woman with an iron rod in Kinrara, Puchong

A woman was attacked by two snatch thieves on a motorcycle at Kinrara, Puchong yesterday. The woman received six stitches to the back of her head.
The attackers confronted the victim who was walking on the sidewalk before they attacked her. District police chief Assistant Commissioner Razimi Ahmad confirmed that the woman put up a fight during the the incident and one of the suspects hit her repeatedly with an iron rod causing her to fall.
The two suspects manage to fled the scene with the victim’s handbag containing RM300, international passport and a hand phone. The victim was rushed to the Serdang Hospital by passers-by. She received treatment and now is in stable condition.
“So far no arrest has been made, however investigations are still on going to nab the two,” he said.
