The cost of living in Malaysia has been increasing and the people who actually notice this are usually the middle class and the lower middle class income group.
Well, Perodua came up a solution for those people working under their company. That’s right — they recently announced that they have signed a Collective Agreement whereby their non-executive staffs will see an increase in wages, benefits and as well as allowance.
At the moment, there are about 9,000 staffs under the Malaysian automaker and 6,700 of them are non-executive staffs that will enjoy the outcome of the Collective Agreement. Based on sources, the agreement was signed between Pekerja-Pekerja Perodua Manufacturing, Perodua Sales, Perodua Engine Manufacturing, Kesatuan Pekerja-Pekerja Engine Manufacturing and also the Kesatuan Pekerja-Pekerja Perodua.
According to the President and the CEO of the company, Datuk Aminar Rashid Salleh, they are also distributing shopping vouchers worth from RM1,200 to RM1,500 for their employees to purchase needed supplies without any burden.
