Number of Body Count in South Korea Ferry Disaster Reaches 150

The death tolls in the South Korea’s ferry disaster has risen to 150 as Coast Guard, Navy and civilian divers recover more bodies from the vessel.

Divers are using guide ropes to lead them into the sunken ferry in search for some 150 more passengers  still unaccounted for, mostly students of a high school.

“We are trained for hostile environments, but it’s hard to be brave when we meet bodies in dark water,” diver Hwang Dae-sik told the wire agency.
