Malaysian mother and son killed in Bangkok explosion

Two Malaysians who were among those killed in the bomb explosion in Bangkok yesterday.


According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, their remains are currently being held at at Police General Hospital in Bangkok for post mortem. The names of the two Malaysians, a mother Lim Saw Gek and her son, Neoh Jai Jun.


“Two Malaysians were also injured in the incident. Mr Tan Rui Hun is currently admitted to Hua Chiew Hospital to receive further treatment, while Miss Tan Kim Siok was discharged earlier after receiving treatment,” it said in a statement today. 11866375_923199374415966_2426098933881559862_n 11866385_923199357749301_5537758011674531666_n 11899977_923199254415978_8326654481797113690_n The bomb explosion took place at the Erawan shrine in the heart of Bangkok and has killed at least 22 people and injured dozens more. The Thai authorities believed that the bombers had targeted foreigners in the attack.
