SHAH ALAM: The Malaysian government welcomes any help to find the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 including any help from ”bomohs” (shamans) as long as the methods that these bomohs use does not contravene Islam said Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Jamil Khir Baharom.
“We appreciate all help but where it comes to mysticism, the methods used must conform to Islamic teachings,” he told reporters after attending the 35th National-level Quran Recital Programme here today. The programme was opened by Selangor Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
Ibrahim Mat Zin, a well known local bomoh (shaman), who came down to the KL International Airport today, claiming that he has been invited by one of the country’s top leaders to locate the missing plane.
Ibrahim after performing a prayer at KLIA’s entrance said he thought the plane was still in the air or had crashed into the sea.
