The Tunku Mahkota of Johor, Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has spoken out that the Royal Malaysian Police’s Special Branch have been monitoring his movements.
“I don’t understand why my phone is bugged. I don’t understand why my movements are monitored by the Special Branch,” said Tunku Ismail in one of the post on the Johor Southern Tigers Facebook page.
He had been asked by a reporter in an interview if he had any messages to add following questions on the FA Cup finals.
“I don’t understand why they need a file about me or my father in Bukit Aman. I’m only someone who cares about my people. Not a terrorist. I’m not dangerous. I have never killed anyone except for Malaysian football,”
On the FA Cup finals, Tunku Ismail said that he did not think of the finals and had no expectations at all.
“Only those who are not in the finals talk more about the finals than the teams who are actually in the finals. Being in the finals is already an achievement. If we win, good. If we lose, we will try again next time,” he said.
