Although HTC is not the market leader when it comes to smartphones, they still do produce some pretty decent devices. For example, the upcoming HTC Butterfly 2.
In the beginning, this device was only meant for the Japanese folks, however, the Taiwanese tech giant has decided to make it available in more locations. The good news is that the Butterfly 2 will also be heading to Malaysia.
As usual, it runs on the latest Android (4.4 KitKat) operating system and it is fitted with a solid Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM. On the other hand, if you are a tech geek you will notice that the specs are almost similar to the HTC One M8. Some of the similar specifications are the 32GB expandable storage, Sense 6 and the LTE connectivity.
What’s different about it is that the Butterfly 2 has a waterproof feature this time and it comes with a solid 13 megapixel camera on it’s back and a 5 megapixel on the front. On top of that, HTC Butterfly 2 also features a unique “LiveStage Signal Processing Technology” which is a digital signal processor (DSP) by Harman.
Based on sources, the launching of the device in Malaysia will be somewhere around mid September 2014.
