Malaysian students of higher learning institutions should use online learning method to obtain more than one degree according to Higher Education Minister Idris Jusoh.
Idris Jusoh said that it would help students to have better prospects in the job market.
“Our higher education system is changing to build a Malaysian education brand, and so we are implementing a flexible approach so that the people can have at least two degrees.
“They (IPT students) will have more opportunities to get a job with a range of qualifications and skills,” he told reporters yesterday.
The Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC) is offered by 20 public universities in the country and according to Idris it would be able to lift quality of the country’s higher education system by producing more graduates with more than one degree.
