Government Spends RM100 Million on Najib’s Private Jet over 3 Years

The recent Auditor General Report shows that the government had spend a whopping RM100.47 Million over three years time since 2010-2013.

Based on the report, it shows that the the government had spend about RM86.4 Million on the private jet rentals, RM16.515  Million on maintenance and RM3.32 Million on refurbishing. On the other hand, an estimated of RM44.02 Million was spent on our Prime Minister’s overseas travel alone since 2008. The report was revealed by Minister in Prime Minister’s Department, Shahidan Kassim, in a reply to Taiping’s MP, Nga Kor Ming.

According to a DAP leader, the Prime Minister’s department has about 8 Ministers and 80,000 staffs and the government spends a total of RM4 Billion annually for their salaries and emolument alone. He added that Najib should be more wise in spending as the government’s debts are climbing and it now stands at RM516.3 Billion.
