From July 2015 onwards, residents of Shah Alam, Subang Jaya and Klang will be able to enjoy free bus service as the Selangor government announced a project that would enable 24,000 people to commute for free.
The routes for the three zones have been proposed to the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) for approval. According to the Selangor Investment, Industry (SME) & Commerce and Transportation committee chairman, Datuk Teng Chang Khim, the buses are expected to pass through high traffic areas like government buildings, schools, KTM stations and even commercial districts.

“The routes planned by MPSJ will also run along the new Kelana Jaya LRT extension, however, the buses will not pass through areas that are being serviced by commercial bus operators because its not a competition,” said Datuk Teng Chang Khim.
