A disabled underaged girl was allegedly raped by a Bangladeshi man at a fire exit of an apartment in Penang.
According to a report by New Straits Times Online, the foreigner handed her RM10 each time he raped the 13 year old girl.
Yesterday, the victim’s father together with the security guard of the apartment and several neighbours in tow mounted a search for the Bangladeshi.
At about 5.30pm on the 14th of February 2016, the search party found the man and handed him over to the police.
After being questioned by authorities, the 38 year old Bangladeshi man then admitted to police that he had merely fondled the teen but did not rape her.
However, doctors who examined the girl at the Penang Hospital where she was sent for a medical examination later told police that there were old tear wounds on her genitals.
The case is being investigated under Section 376 of the Penal Code for statutory rape.
