Copywriter from Indonesia dies after working without sleep for 3 days


Mita Diran, a young copywriter for Young & Rubicam in Indonesia died after working for more than 30 hours without sleep for 3 consecutive days.


In her last Tweet on December 14, she tweeted “30 hours of working and still going strooong.”

From a screenshot shared on the Internet, her father Yani Sharizal, an Executive Creative Director said that his daughter was in a coma after working consecutively for 3 days.


An hour later, an employee said that Mita has passed away due to cardiac arrest from excessive consumption of Kratingdaeng – Thai version of Red Bull

Mita Diran has been described as a cheerful person by her friends. She studied in Malaysia and worked here for a period of time before she returned to Indonesia.
