“Malaysians have certainly become more knowledgeable on property. But many are still unaware of the processes, the do and don’ts and other pertinent information, especially first time homeowners and younger people. Through customer engagement initiatives such as these, we’re looking to create not just excitement, but to encourage more Malaysians to seek the property knowledge they need,” shared Sheldon.
Sheldon also added that as the property market becomes more sophisticated, there is a greater need to educate and empower people.
“A challenge and reward approach such as the Be Malaysia’s Next Property Guru initiative incentivises people to take ownership and take the lead in their own empowerment and education process. It’s part of our larger educational and branding campaign that includes radioshows, media engagements and other activities that will be rolled out for the remaining of 2015 and into 2016,” added Sheldon.
