PETALING JAYA: A bank’s security guard shot dead one of its operation officer and fled with the cash from the safe.

The victim, Noazita Abu Talin, 37, was opening a safe with a colleague in the bank at Jalan USJ Sentral 2 at around 6.18pm yesterday.

From the footage of the CCTV, we can see that the suspect shot the victim, Noazita using a pump-gun before forcing the  terrified colleague to load a bag with cash from the safe.

The suspect then felt away on a motorcycle.

The suspect later was revealed to be Arzi Hamza (770818-12-6721) from Tawau in Sabah.

Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar said there were only five staff members in the bank, including the suspect.

The security firm claims that Arzi Hamza was meant to be a replacement guard for the bank  and had worked in another bank next to the crime scene. However, he raised concern over facts of the suspect’s identity.

Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Abdul Rahim Jaafar said, “Checks on his IC revealed that it was a fake. We are going to look into this more and find out how he was employed with a fake IC.”
