KUALA LUMPUR: 14 people were injured after a grenade exploded in front of the Sun Complex in Jalan Bukit Bintang on Thursday. Four cars were damaged from the explosion.
Police received information about the blast outside a pub at about 4.30am. It is later learnt that the explosion came from underneath a car that was parked in the area. Police also found another unexploded device that is believed to be a grenade found under another car (Toyota Camry).
The injured were sent to Hospital Kuala Lumpur nearby Tung Shin Hospital. A car jockey is said to have been warded at the intensive care unit.
