1. Drink a lot of water
Your body needs water. And we are not talking about alcohol or juice. All you need is a tall glass of water and make sure you drink a lot of it.
2. Take a long shower
Life feels different when you’re clean. So, hit the showers, wash your hair and give yourself a head massage.
3. Take a walk
You might need some fresh air. Give your body some natural light, breathe some different air, move your legs a little and allow yourself to think some different thoughts.
4. Change your clothes
Even if you are not going to leave your house today, just put on real clothes. If you’ve been wearing the same uncomfortable clothes all day and feel restless, change into your sleepy clothes and slippers and relax.
5. Talk to someone
If you don’t feel like talking about your troubles, then that’s fine. Visit a friend and talk to them about a movie you saw or something. Or call your mum and see how she’s doing.
6. Get some exercise
Do some cardio, work up a sweat. It feels good when you are done.
7. Hug an animal
If you don’t have a pet, you can visit a friend’s pet. Or you can just go to an animal shelter.
8. Accomplish something – It doesn’t have to be something big
You can grab some groceries, schedule a date with someone or even by making your bed. And don’t forget to congratulate yourself for getting something done.
9. Watch YouTube videos that will always make you laugh
It can be any video. As long as it makes you laugh.
10. Make a “done” list instead of a “to-do” list
Start feeling better about what you did get done. It doesn’t matter how small the task, prove to yourself that you’re effectual.
