10. Shenzhen – China


Shenzhen  is a major city in the south of Southern China’s Guangdong Province. It is located immediately in north of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Based on a report published by Shenzhen Daily in 2012, Shenzhen has a population of approximately 15 million and it is far safer than any western city with a similar population, and violent crime against foreigners is extremely rare.The city is one of the most developed areas in the world. It has recorded that unlike other cities where crime is perpetuated against foreigners, in Shenzhen, it is very safe for expatriates.
9. Shanghai – China


Shanghai is the largest Chinese city in terms of population. It is also the largest city proper in the world by population.  It recorded a population of more than 24 million as of 2013. It is a global financial center, and a transport hub with the world’s busiest container port. Shanghai is a regular tourist destination popular for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yu Garden as well as the extensive Lujiazui skyline and major museums including the Shanghai Museum and the China Art Museum. Doha  is the capital city of Qatar. The city is the most populous city of the State of Qatar with a population of 900,545 within the city proper. Located on the coast of the Persian Gulf in the east of the country, Doha is the fastest growing city, with more than 60% of the nation’s population living in Doha or its surrounding suburbs. It is the economic center of the country and consists of one of the municipalities of Qatar. Crime in Doha is relatively low compared to industrialized cities. Petty crimes such as pick-pocketing and bag snatching does occur, but is extremely uncommon. Although incidents of violence are generally considered to be rare, violence has occurred more frequently due to increase in the population of Doha, and economic pressures on expatriate workers during the last few years.
7. Abu Dhabi – UAE


This city is the capital of UAE.  It is also the second most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (the most populous being Dubai), and also capital of Abu Dhabi emirate, the largest of the UAE’s seven member emirates. Abu Dhabi is located on a T-shaped island jutting into the Persian Gulf from the central western coast. The city proper had a population of 2.33 million in 2014.
The city’s fast development and urbanization, with the relatively high average income of its population, has changed Abu Dhabi to a bigger and more developed metropolis but still, the rate of criminal activities are in check.

5. Taipei – Taiwan


Taipei is the capital city of Taiwan. It is located at the northern tip of Taiwan. The city is an enclave of the municipality of New Taipei. It caters to more than 2.62 million people living in it. The city has been the center of rapid economic development. This safe city covers an area of 271.7 square kilometers and has a robust public transport system which is known to be a major site for petty thefts and robberies now and again. 4. Hong Kong


Hong Kong is a major city situated in the southern coast of China. It has a population of more than 7.188 million. The city is the 4th safest city in Asia based on 2015 Safe Cities Index. Although crime in Hong Kong is present in various forms, the most common being thefts, assaults, vandalism, burglaries, drug offenses, and triad-related crimes. In 2011, Hong Kong began to experience a sharp decrease in the rate of crimes so that at the end of 2011, Hong Kong had the lowest murder rate in the world.
3. Osaka – Japan


Osaka is a city located in the Kansai region of Japan. The city caters for more than 2.665 people. The city covers 223 square kilometers. It is an endowed city and ranks high in personal safety.
